Group iKON successfully wrapped up their concert in Korea in 2 years. For over 2 hours, ‘iKONIC’ continued to sing along and cheer for the group. People change, but ‘iKONIC’ never did. After showing their gratitude towards their fan club, members of iKON shed tears.

On August 18 at 5 PM, iKON (B.I, JAY, BOBBY, SONG, JU-NE, DK, CHAN) held the ‘iKON 2018 CONTINUE TOUR’ in Seoul Olympic Gymnastics Arena and had a special meeting with the fans.

After opening the concert with the strong Hip-Hop track ‘BLING BLING’ released last year on May, iKON stated, “It’s been a while. Did you miss us?”. They shared their feelings by continuing, “We missed you more”. The scene made people realize how much the group has been waiting for a concert in Korea.

Leader B.I revealed his expectations and excitement in the beginning by stating, “This is why I became an artist”. He continued, “We were nervous and worried since it’s our concert in Korea in 2 years and a half. (While preparing for the concert) We slept 2 hours each day for the whole month”, explaining the group’s hard work and passion.

The members presented a ‘well-made performance’ which reminded viewers of a movie by participating in the VCR directing and stage composing themselves. The concert was composed of not only performances by iKON in full-form, but also individual performances by B.I and BOBBY and unit performances by vocals JAY, JU-NE, SONG, DK, and CHAN. They also performed the unreleased song ‘PERFECT’ for the fans in Korea.

iKON showed off their perfect teamwork raised while preparing for the concert. The members also shared their hard-work put in for the concert. CHAN stated, “All 18 songs have individual choreography moves, which is a lot. DK helped me a lot”, showing gratitude towards DK. B.I added, “DK prepared more than half of the new choreography moves for the concert”, praising DK’s role.

The talk between members also made people laugh. When asked about what he prepared for the concert, SONG replied, “Can’t you see? Visuals”, making everyone laugh. B.I cutely pointed out, “You should work harder”. JAY also raised the mood by adding, “I thought I was the rising visual these days?”.

After making a mischievous remark, SONG shed tears while reciting a sincere letter he wrote for the fans. With his eyes shed in tears, he stared at the audiences and stated, “Thank you for making us shine on stage. As much as you made us shine, we’ll become stars and shine you back”. After a moment of silence, he continued, “We’ll bring it to you on a good day. I love you, iKONIC’.

DK also stated, “There were many hard times, but we were able to make it, thanks to your love. It took a while to recharge but we got ourselves in track. We thank you, iKONIC”.

The concert which started with excitement became a scene of communication as it progressed towards the end. iKON performed over 20 songs including their encore performances of ‘FOR YOU’, ‘LOVE SCENARIO’, ‘DUMB & DUMBER’, and ‘CLIMAX’, expressing their gratitude coming out of their hearts. iKON stated, “We prepared many encore performances. Your cheers and singing-along will determine the number of encore performances”, making the fans roar in excitement. The members than thanked the fans by stating, “Thank you for being with us. We put in hard work since it’s our concert in a while, and we thank you for touching our hearts”.

After making a promise to party hard while being ‘safe’, iKON’s leader B.I shed tears at the end of the encore performance. B.I stated, “We missed you. I was happy during rehearsal yesterday, since I felt like I could finally find those times”.

JU-NE, who made the crowd cheer with his strong abs also shared the fact that the concert in Korea was a very touching moment for him. He stated, “We’ve been doing concerts overseas, so it was a little awkward talking in Korean. But I was so happy”. He continued, “I thought about what I can do by myself while performing this encore. I can’t reserve movie tickets or get on a subway by myself. I can’t even do makeup by myself”. He then expressed his gratitude by stating, “The people around me let me exist. Thank you”.

The ‘iKON 2018 CONTINUE TOUR’ concert was a set of iKON’s sincere performances recharged with iKONIC’s love without reason. The fans left the scene while hoping for JAY’s words that stated, “There will be good news soon. Now it’s time for us to protect you” to become reality soon.

They also revealed a surprise spoiler for the audience who thought their next song will also end with the word ‘da’, as ‘LOVE SCENARIO’ and ‘KILLING ME’ were consecutive title songs that ended with ‘da’. B.I stated, “We won’t do three consecutive ‘da’ series. It might end with ‘yo’ next time. ‘Good bye’ and ‘Take Care’”.

Meanwhile, after successfully wrapping up their concert in Seoul on August 18, iKON will visit a total of 8 cities including Taipei on September 22, Kuala Lumpur on October 13, Bangkok from October 19~20, Singapore on November 4, Manila on November 11, Jakarta on November 18, and Hong Kong on November 25.
