BLACKPINK to Finally Perform as a Complete Group Again… New Song Titled ‘JUMP’
[엑스포츠뉴스=조혜진 기자] BLACKPINK will finally unveil their new song performance for the first time today (July 5) at their Goyang concert.
On July 5, YG Entertainment posted a teaser titled “READY TO JUMP?” on its official blog, revealing the new track’s title, “JUMP.” The graphic teaser video features a snippet of the song and its title, and despite its short length, the impact is powerful.
The visually stunning imagery immediately creates a sense of overwhelming spectacle. A flash of glowing pink space-time and the fast-paced visuals that pull viewers into a mysterious realm build a strong sense of tension.
Adding to that, the electrifying beat instantly captures the listener’s attention. An upbeat electric guitar layered over an intensifying bass rhythm amps up the excitement, and as the word “JUMP” appears on screen, the lyrics “뛰어 (Jump)” play in the background, sparking curiosity about the full track.
The teaser, titled “READY TO JUMP?” and the phrase “DO NOT JUMP” previously seen on official social media profiles, were hints leading up to this moment. Though minimal in length, the content delivers BLACKPINK’s condensed energy in full, prompting global music fans to speculate on what kind of concept the group will unveil this time.
The release date for “JUMP” has not yet been announced. However, this teaser clearly marks the start of BLACKPINK’s comeback promotions. With the group set to perform their first new song in 2 years and 8 months as a full group at the ‘BLACKPINK WORLD TOUR <DEADLINE> IN GOYANG’ concert held today (July 5) and tomorrow (July 6) at the Goyang Sports Complex Main Stadium, anticipation for their return is hotter than ever.
Meanwhile, BLACKPINK will kick off a massive world tour starting with the Goyang concert, covering 16 cities and 31 shows. The group is set to light up stadium-scale venues across the globe, including Los Angeles, Chicago, Toronto, New York, Paris, Milan, Barcelona, London, Kaohsiung, Bangkok, Jakarta, Bulacan, Singapore, Tokyo, and Hong Kong, further cementing their status as global artists.
