BABYMONSTER Bursts with Playful Energy in ‘HOT SAUCE’ Dance Practice Video
[OSEN=선미경 기자] BABYMONSTER has unveiled the full performance of their latest track HOT SAUCE for the first time, lighting up fans around the world with their vibrant energy.
On July 4, YG Entertainment posted the “BABYMONSTER – ‘HOT SAUCE’ DANCE PRACTICE VIDEO” on their official blog. This marks their first choreography video filmed in the practice room since their pre-debut track BATTER UP, capturing the members’ carefree and lively spirit in its entirety.
Dressed in loose-fit pants and colorful tops, BABYMONSTER perfectly recreated the retro vibes of 1980s old-school hip-hop, grabbing attention right away. Rather than showcasing their usual fierce charisma, they opted for a bold, bubbly charm packed with individuality.
Dashing energetically across the practice room, BABYMONSTER fully immersed themselves in the song’s upbeat mood, energizing viewers with every move. Their dynamic choreography, full of bouncy movements and sharp arm gestures, delivered an electrifying rush, enough to make anyone watching groove along.
Even within the whirlwind of movement, their clever point choreography visually translated the lyrics, adding another layer of fun. Gestures like touching their lips to mimic tasting something spicy or fanning themselves with exaggerated expressions added a playful touch that brought smiles to fans’ faces.
The HOT SAUCE performance was choreographed by a powerhouse team including JonAhn, Sienna Lalau, and Chae Dasom. The choreography, already praised for its rhythm and dynamic flair just from the music video, has been receiving hot responses. With full-fledged promotions on music shows on the way, the hype is expected to grow even more.
BABYMONSTER made their comeback on July 1 with HOT SAUCE, and they’re currently sweeping the global stage with growing popularity. From the members’ refreshing vocals and tight, fast-paced rapping to the addictive hook layered over punchy drum beats, the track has been hailed by music fans as a new contender for this summer’s hottest anthem.
