BABYMONSTER Teases ‘HOT SAUCE’ with Surprise Sneak Peek… Two Dance Videos Confirmed
[OSEN=지민경 기자] With just four days left until the release of their new track ‘HOT SAUCE,’ BABYMONSTER has amped up the excitement for their comeback by announcing a dynamic lineup of promotional videos.
On June 27, YG Entertainment posted a teaser titled “BABYMONSTER is coming in HOT” on its official blog. According to the announcement, BABYMONSTER will drop ‘HOT SAUCE’ on July 1, followed by the release of a bonus performance video and a dance practice clip.
Given BABYMONSTER’s history of racking up massive views with just dance videos, without official music videos, for tracks like ‘SHEESH’, ‘LIKE THAT’, ‘DRIP’, and ‘BILLIONAIRE’, fans’ expectations are already running high for this round of content.
The poster revealed today also introduced a refreshingly playful concept not seen in previous teasers. The members sport white overalls adorned with colorful lettering representing the initials of BABYMONSTER, paired with visuals full of individuality and a confident aura—offering a glimpse into yet another musical transformation and stirring curiosity.
BABYMONSTER is making their comeback on July 1 at 6 PM with their pre-release single ‘HOT SAUCE’. YG previously hinted that the song would reinterpret 1980s old-school hip-hop in BABYMONSTER’s unique style, stating, “Their cool and refreshing ‘summer song’ will be the perfect antidote to the summer heat.”
Meanwhile, BABYMONSTER is currently on their debut world tour, the 2025 BABYMONSTER 1st WORLD TOUR ‘HELLO MONSTERS’, which spans 20 cities and 32 shows. Starting with the release of ‘HOT SAUCE’, they plan to dominate the latter half of the year with a packed schedule, including a second single in September and their mini album in October.
