On June 26, YG Entertainment released the ‘BLACKPINK WORLD TOUR DEADLINE TRAILER.’ The large-scale production fitting a global top-tier artist gave a glimpse into the upcoming world tour, offering answers to long-held curiosity from fans.
The video opens with ROSÉ making a phone call in a vast desert. With a dynamic soundtrack reminiscent of a Western film, the girls blaze down a long open road, captured in a cinematic style that evokes the feel of a movie trailer, adding to the immersion.
Particularly striking is the sequence of ROSÉ, LISA, JENNIE, and JISOO appearing one by one before coming together for a road trip, delivering a thrilling sense of excitement. It’s a moment that reignites the synergy of the four members, who have taken the global music scene by storm.
YG shared, “This trailer was filmed entirely on location in collaboration with renowned international directors, shot in the desert near Lancaster, USA, and at studios in Hollywood. Please look forward to how everyone’s effort will come to life in DEADLINE performances.”
BLACKPINK is set to kick off the ‘BLACKPINK WORLD TOUR DEADLINE IN GOYANG’ at Goyang Sports Complex Main Stadium on July 5 and 6. It marks the launch of a massive world tour that will span 16 cities and 31 shows across stadium-scale venues worldwide.
Anticipation is sky-high as the event will also mark the premiere of BLACKPINK’s new song, their first in two years and eight months.
