On July 8, YG Entertainment posted “BLACKPINK – ‘JUMP’ M/V TEASER” on its official blog, revealing this information. The teaser video hints at a music video with an unprecedented scale, like watching a cinematic film.
It’s intense from the very start. BLACKPINK appears in a comic book cover style, flying through the air like superhero characters, grabbing attention immediately. The dynamic camera movement crossing between high-rise buildings delivers a powerful sense of immersion.
Then, ROSÉ, JENNIE, JISOO, and LISA appear one by one on massive digital billboards, heightening the pulse. The four members standing together in front of a mural depicting BLACKPINK, striking photogenic poses, elevated fans’ expectations to the peak.
The music video for ‘JUMP’ is directed by Dave Meyers, a Grammy Award-winning director known for working with leading pop stars.
