SECHSKIES, “Will come back with new songs in celebration of 20th anniversary of debut”

[텐아시아=김하진 기자] Group SECHSKIES will wrap up the performances for their new album, by giving the last performance in SBS “INKIGAYO” to be aired on the first day of 2017. The members of SECHSKIES talked about what they feel about their performances for the new album and expressed their gratitude for fans.

SECHSKIES came back on December 1 with “2016 Re-ALBUM”, their first new album in 16 years. The team will wrap up their performances for the new album in “INKIGAYO” to be aired on January 1 next year. Notably, SECHSKIES will unveil the performance of their new song “THREE WORDS” for the first time in “INKIGAYO”.

SECHSKIES expressed their gratitude for fans by saying, “The year 2016 was like a miracle for us and we were happy because of fans who have so passionately welcomed us”. SECHSKIES members went on to talk about their plans, saying, “We’re coming back next year with new songs in celebration of the 20^th anniversary of our debut”. 

SECHSKIES was dramatically reunited after 16 years of separation, for their performance in TV show “The Infinite Challenge” in last April. Then, they held a comeback concert to see fans who have long waited for them. “THREE WORDS”, SECHSKIES’ first new song in 16 years, which was released in October this year, swept No.1 on music charts and also took No.1 on Gaon’s October chart, to proclaim the successful return of the top first-generation idol boy group.

On December 1, SECHSKIES released a remake album with their ten best hit songs newly produced in the 2016 version.

SECHSKIES will hold an encore concert “2017 SECHSKIES FINAL IN SEOUL” on January 21 and 22 next year at Jamsil Indoor Gymnasium in Seoul.
