Just after four days of the release of Psy’s new song ‘Gentleman’, he stood at the top of global iTunes rank.

On April 16 (Korean time), his new viral song beat P!nk’s ‘Just Give Me a Reason’, which now ranks second, with Rihanna’s ‘Stay’ in the third place.

‘Gentleman’ was unveiled at midnight on April 12 in 119 different countries, and it is becoming the top worldwide with flying colors. Psy’s rank was staying at eight in the morning of April 15, but it jumped to second in the afternoon. And in just one day, he pushed away P!nk, who was then number one, and stood on top.

His newly released video is ranked number one in iTunes Singles Chart in 27 countries including Czech Republic, Hong Kong, Finland, Singapore, Sweden, Switzerland and Vietnam. Apart from this, he ranked sixth in Japan, seventh in England and France, twelfth in Germany and eighteenth in the U.S.

The world star is also doing extremely well in Korea. 5 days after the release he has been sweeping across all music charts. His music video hit 70 million views on April 16, and by the end of the day it is expected to hit 100 million.
