TREASURE Joins Regular Savings Campaign→Donates for the Health Promotion of Children with Cancer
[뉴스엔=박수인 기자] Group TREASURE joined Naver’s Happybean Regular Savings Campaign with MUJU YG Foundation and NGO Hanbit.
The ‘Naver Happybean Regular Savings’ is a campaign helping online users make regular savings every month and eventually make donations to an organization the user wants to. There are various ‘piggy banks’ with public interest, while many people are participating.
TREASURE has supported the campaign with the same purpose, and as a result, a considerable amount of money is being piled up with the fans’ warm empathy and support. Furthermore, YG Entertainment’s non-profit foundation MUJU YG has also contributed 30 million KRW through TREASURE’s Naver Happybean page.
In the delivery ceremony held by MUJU YG and NGO Hanbit on the 27th, for the donation with the purpose health promotion of children with cancer, TREASURE stated, “Sharing fills up each other’s hearts” and added, “We hope you also feel the pleasant heart-fluttering feeling”.
Meanwhile, MUJU YG is consistently supporting victims of school violence through music therapy since 2015, with Ehwa Woman’s University Music Therapy Department. They have also been donating food boxes for youth institutions where it’s hard to provide meals due to situations regarding the COVID19.
MUJU YG Foundation stated, “Although we are going through difficult times due to the COVID19, we hope we help children with cancer and their families through this campaign”. They added, “We’ll continue to work hard to help our future generation to grow as healthy adults”.
