AKMU Comeback D-5, ‘HAPPENING’ with Deepened Emotions

On November 11 at 9 AM, YG Entertainment uploaded the mood concept film for AKMU’s third single ‘HAPPENING’ through their official blog. The cold yet deep emotions of LEE CHAN HYUK and LEE SUHYUN stood out. LEE CHAN HYUK walking slowly in the dim fog and LEE SUHYUNs cynical facial expression as she turned back after smelling dry flowers raised curiosities on what kind of symbolic meaning they carry.
At the end of the clip, AKMU’s sentimental vocals were previewed along with the phrase ‘HAPPENING’, grabbing the ears of music fans. The calm and quiet instrumental created harmony with wind sounds, which maximized lonely emotions, while the vocal phrase ‘You just my happening’ left a strong impression.
As it is a mood concept film, it is assumed as a teaser that shows the emotions of the main character on AKMU’s ‘HAPPENING’. It makes the fans look forward to AKMU’s matured aspects, since they’ve always touched the listeners with music which raises empathy.
AKMU’s ‘HAPPENING’ will be released on the 16th at 6 PM. It will be in a month since the release of LEE SUHYUN’s first solo single ‘ALIEN’, and approximately a year and 2 months since the release of AKMU’s third album ‘SAILING’.
