BLACKPINK’s ‘JUMP’ Surpasses 100 Million Spotify Streams… Fastest for a K-pop Female Artist
[헤럴드경제=고승희 기자] The world is leaping faster and higher together with BLACKPINK.
According to YG Entertainment on the 29th, BLACKPINK’s new song ‘JUMP’ surpassed 100 million streams on Spotify as of the previous day. It achieved this milestone in approximately 17 days since its release on the 11th.
‘JUMP’ marks BLACKPINK’s 33rd song to exceed 100 million streams. It matched the record set by ‘Pink Venom’, which also hit 100 million streams in 17 days, the fastest time ever for a K-pop female artist. Additionally, it set the record as the fastest K-pop release this year to reach 100 million streams.
‘JUMP’ showed overwhelming momentum from the moment it dropped. It maintained the top spot on Spotify’s Global Daily Chart for six consecutive days and debuted at No. 1 on the Weekly Chart in its first week, logging the highest number of first-week streams for a 2025 release with 44,759,923 plays.
The success wasn’t limited to Spotify. The song also stormed major global charts. It topped both the Billboard Global 200 and Billboard Global (Excl. U.S.) charts, and debuted at No. 28 on the Billboard Hot 100. On the UK Official Singles Chart, it reached No. 18.
Currently, BLACKPINK is continuing their world tour ‘DEADLINE’, spanning 16 cities and 31 shows.
