On November 15 at 9 AM, YG Entertainment uploaded AKMU’s third single ‘HAPPENING’ D-1 poster through their official blog. The frame which reminded the viewers of a film camera and the image of spider webs surrounding the sign with the word ‘HAPPENING’, which has previously been released through a teaser clip, impress the viewers. The poster seems to imply that a long period of time has passed and along with the emotions.

As AKMU is known to be the ‘chart influencers you trust and listen to’, the entire K-Pop scene is paying keen attention on their comeback. AKMU’s unique musical world and emotions shown through promotional contents have already become a hot topic, proving the group’s strong influence. The MV teaser and band live session version sampler clip revealed part of the lyrical melody and lyrics of happening, raising the music fans’ anticipation.

AKMU’s ‘HAPPENING’ will be released on November 16 at 6 PM. On the 16th at 5 PM, an hour prior to their comeback, they will hold a live comeback show through #OUTNOW by NOW, which is Naver app’s live content service, to meet the fans earlier.

Meanwhile, AKMU’s third album ‘Sailing’ released last year has not only achieved public popularity but was also recognized for their musical artistry. The title song ‘How Can I Love the Heartbreak, You’re the One I Love’ from the album achieved an ‘all-kill’ on major Korean music charts and has maintained its top spot for a long time. The song is still receiving love and support from its listeners and is ranked in the top 20s of Melon’s daily chart until now, a year after its release.
