LEE SUHYUN of AKMU Reveals Part of Her First Solo Single, D-3 ‘ALIEN’
[스포츠경향=김서영 기자] AKMU LEE SUHYUN revealed part of the lyrics and melody of her upcoming first solo single, ‘ALIEN’.
On October 13, YG Entertainment uploaded the ‘ALIEN’ lyric poster and sampler video through their official blog.
LEE SUHYUN’s tomboyish styling stood out. Her mint-colored ponytail hair, colorful accessories, a t-shirt with an alien print, and long sleeves emphasized LEE SUHYUN’s strong character, grabbing the attention of viewers.
Furthermore, lyrics such as ‘In the deep and remote darkness / an ALIEN born like a secret’ was marked in the poster, raising the curiosity of viewers. The fresh emotional expressions and LEE SUHYUN’s charms as a pure ‘tomboy’ were well represented.
YG also revealed a sampler video revealing part of LEE SUHYUN’s ‘ALIEN’, raising the anticipation of fans.
The short yet impactful lyrics which went, ‘If whoever asks me who I am / I’m an ALIEN that will redeem this confounded earth’ along with the exciting and mystic sounds impressed the viewers along with LEE SUHYUN’s high pitch. It is expected that LEE SUHYUN will make a dramatic transformation as a solo artist, differentiated from what she has presented through AKMU.
‘ALIEN’ is LEE SUHYUN’s first official solo single being released in 6 years since she has made debut. The song will be released on October 16 at 6 PM. LEE CHAN HYUK of AKMU was not only credited as the writer and composer of the song but also took the role as the main producer, making the people look forward to the birth of another masterpiece.
