[헤럴드POP=김은혜 기자] AKMU LEE SUHYUN has changed. The dance practice video for ‘ALIEN’ has been revealed prior to her first performance on weekend music broadcasts, grabbing the eyes and ears of fans.
On October 17 at 2 PM, YG Entertainment uploaded LEE SUHYUN’s ‘ALIEN’ dance practice video through their official blog.
LEE SUHYUN’s transformation from what she has presented through AKMU charmed the viewers. In front of a LED screen expressing the mystic vibes of space, she completed the concept of ‘ALIEN’ with her mint-colored hair, unique outfit, and face tattoos.
LEE SUHYUN created a perfect harmony with the dancers. Her delicate hand moves in sync to the lyrics along with her confident yet varied facial expressions raised the performance’s level of completion. The group move which is both joyful and encouraging also added abundance to her performance.
It was a continuation of unique and cute motions. The ‘telepathy dance’ which reminded the viewers of communicating with an alien at the drop was very catchy. Since it is a point move which anyone can easily mimic, it is expected to be another way of enjoying ‘ALIEN’ for the fans. In fact, the ‘ALIEN’ TikTok challenge is being held until the 21st(Wed).
LEE SUHYUN released her single ‘ALIEN’ yesterday(16th), making her first successful step as a solo artist. ‘ALIEN’ was ranked at no. 1 on major Korean music charts including Bugs and Genie. The song was also placed on the top ranks of other charts as well and is steadily increasing in popularity.
LEE SUHYUN will have her solo debut performance today(17th) on MBC ‘Show! Music Core’. The people are paying keen attention on LEE SUHYUN’s new challenge as a ‘solo artist’, since she will be presenting sounds differentiated from the acoustic band sounds which represent AKMU.
