According to YG Entertainment on July 7, BLACKPINK’s ‘Kill This Love’ MV surpassed 900M views on YouTube as of 6:38 PM.
As a result, BLACKPINK became the first K-Pop group to hold 2 MVs with over 900M views including ‘DDU-DU DDU-DU’ at 1.2B views and ‘Kill This Love’.
Their other hits including ‘BOOMBAYAH’ and ‘AS IF IT’S YOUR LAST’ are also expected to reach 900M views soon, which will continue the group’s record march.
The ‘Kill This Love’ MV captivated the global fans’ hearts with BLACKPINK’s powerful and charismatic dance lines along with sophisticated visuals. Their motions of firing a rifle and catchy point moves impressed the viewers.
The video was released last year on April 5, and surpassed 100M views in 63 hours since its release. It was the only K-Pop MV to be listed on YouTube’s ‘The Most Watched MV in the World in 2019’ TOP10.
