‘Painter Song’ MINO to Make Official Debut as Artist… Will Hold Year-End Exhibition
[뉴스엔=황혜진 기자] MINO of group WINNER will hold his first-ever official exhibition.
According to coverage by Newsen, MINO will participate in the ‘SEEA 2019’ to be held in Seognam Arts Center from December 17th until the 25th.
The ‘SEEA 2019’ is a special exhibition held for new and upcoming artists. Following last year’s exhibition, various artworks will be displayed this year as well.
It will be MINO’s first-ever official exhibition ever since making debut. After making debut as a member of WINNER back in 2014, MINO not only showed prominence as an artist and producer, but also in various fields including entertainment, fashion, and art, proving his well-rounded talent. He also grabbed the people’s attention on June by appearing on the runway of the Louis Vuitton show during Paris Fashion Week.
MINO has steadily revealed his works recently through his social media account, as well as presenting his own paintings and billboard during tvN’s ‘Kang’s Kitchen’, which earned him the nickname ‘Painter Song’. Although it will be his first official exhibition, the people are looking forward to MINO’s works as he has previously collaborated well-known brands such as Adidas, Leica, and Gentle Monster last year.
In the midst of his busy schedule including the ‘WINNER [CROSS] TOUR’, global events, shooting for ‘New Journey to the West 7’, and participating in Blue.D’s debut single ‘NOBODY’ as a featuring artist, MINO is working hard to prepare for his upcoming exhibition.
After finishing his preparation for the exhibition, MINO will join WINNER for the group’s Asia tour. WINNER will perform in Jakarta on 12/21, in Macau on 12/28 and 12/29, in Bangkok next year on 1/11 and 1/12, in Kuala Lumpur on 1/18, in Manila on 1/25, in Ho Chi Minh on 2/1, and in Singapore on 2/8.
