MINO of WINNER Reveals Dance Video for ‘Hold’ Made with Fingers… ‘Song Garak’ Indeed
[OSEN=선미경 기자] MINO of WINNER not only wrote and composed ‘Hold’, WINNER’s upcoming pre-release single, but also revealed a ‘finger choreography video’ for the song.
On March 21 at 9 AM, YG Entertainment uploaded the finger dance video for ‘Hold’ through their official blog and social media channels including TikTok, the short video platform.
In the video, MINO grabbed the people’s attention with ‘finger dance’. He drew male and female characters on both of his hands and showed them hold their hands and tapping their feet in sync.
He also cutely expressed the couple facing each other and crossing each other’s feet, in addition to the female heading forward and the male following her, nudging her on the side, and then kissing her.
With the group’s comeback only 5 days ahead, the people’s curiosities and anticipation on WINNER’s actual performance have gotten even bigger. It is expected that they will present an exciting dance, which anyone can imitate.
As the song ‘Hold’ was used for the background music of the ‘finger dance’ video, the main chorus melody and lyrics were naturally revealed. The lyrics ‘Don’t think too hard, even if you’re shy, don’t hold back’ allowed the viewers to assume the overall story and mood of the song.
YG explained, “It is a song that states a man’s emotions towards a woman he has fling with, in addition to one’s feelings on the people who have fling around him”. The agency added, “The catchy main melody and the constantly changing arrangement with WINNER’s vocals in spoken style blends well together, making the song more interesting to listen to”.
‘Hold’ was written and composed by MINO. Furthermore, R.Tee participated in the composing of the track and arranging the song to raise its musical completion. WINNER, who has been loved with their trendy music without being bound to a single genre, is expected to present their clear charms once again.
WINNER’s ‘Hold’ will be pre-released on the 26th. Their third album ‘Remember’, containing a total of 12 tracks, will be released next month on the 9th.
