WINNER’s MINO Will Release His First Solo Album ‘XX’ on November… Teaser Revealed [OFFICIAL]
[OSEN=선미경 기자] Group WINNER’s MINO noticed his first solo album release on November.
Today (26th) at 10 PM, YG Entertainment revealed a mysterious teaser poster for WINNER MINO’s first solo album ‘XX’ through their official blog (www.yg-life.com).
The phrase ‘MINO FIRST SOLO ALBUM : XX’ raised attention on what kind of music MINO will present through his first solo album.
The mysterious sign ‘XX’ and MINO wearing sunglasses with an all-black outfit make the viewers curious and imagine the concepts of the upcoming album. The poster also raised curiosities on the exact release date, since the date written next to November was written in question marks.
YG’s representative producer YANG HYUN SUK has revealed spoilers on MINO’s MV shooting scene through his Instagram, raising expectations. It is said that representative YANG stayed up all night with MINO at the scene to raise completeness of the MV.
MINO has presented his masculine charms through his solo track titled ‘I’M HIM’ on WINNER’s debut album. He later won 2nd place on ‘Show Me The Money 4’, rapidly growing his presence as a rapper. He has been letting himself known as a rapper through hits including ‘Fear’ and ‘Okey Dokey’.
His first solo digital single titled ‘BODY’ back in 2016 was a song with dreamy and ambient vibes. His solo track ‘TURN OFF THE LIGHT’ from WINNER’s 2nd album released in April was written by himself and received favorable reviews from music fans.
The music fans are already looking forward to MINO’s musical talent and outlook as a ‘solo artist’, which will be different from what he has been presenting as a member of WINNER.
