Australian Fans ‘Sing-Along’ to iKON in Korean… Their Legendary First Concert in Sydney
[ OSEN=선미경 기자] Boy group iKON met the local fans through their first-ever concert in Australia since debut.
iKON held the ‘IKON 2018 Continue TOUR in Sydney’ on the 25th in BIG TOP, LUNA PARK located in Sydney, Australia.
After decorating their first performances with songs ‘BLING BLING’ and ‘SINOSIJAK’, the group presented passionate choreography and vocals to repay the Australian fans’ loud cheers.
The fans were singing-along during iKON’s first Australian concert. The fans sang together when iKON performed hits including ‘LOVE SCENARIO’ and ‘MY TYPE’. Even the Australian fans sang in Korean, creating an unusual scene.
When iKON raised the heat of the stage with songs ‘ANTHEM’ and ‘BIRTHDAY’, the audiences danced and jumped together to enjoy the concert. iKON then communicated with the local fans by telling them stories of their visits to Sydney Opera House, Harbour Bridge, and Bondi Beach.
The fans prepared a special event during iKON’s first encore performance of the song ‘For You’. The fans shared their support towards iKON with the slogan, ‘We’ll shine you, iKON’.
iKON also connected with the fans by sprinkling water towards the heated audience seats while the group performed ‘DUMB&DUMBER’.
They also additionally performed ‘RHYTHM TA’ which was not included in the setlist, to express their gratitude towards the fans of Sydney.
iKON, who visited Australia for the first time, has had a good start of their first Australian concert as they have received welcome from many fans at the airport. After completing their concert in Sydney, iKON will continue to perform on the 27th in Melbourne as part of their Australian concert schedules.
iKON who won 19 trophies in music broadcasts this year with songs ‘LOVE SCENARIO’, ‘KILLING ME’, and ‘GOODBYE ROAD’ will continue their overseas tour in Melbourne, in Singapore on 11/4, in Manila on 11/11, in Jakarta on 11/18, and in Hong Kong on 11/25.
