WINNER MINO Announces His First Solo Album to be Released on November… The Album is Titled ‘XX’
[스포츠조선닷컴=정안지 기자] WINNER MINO introduced his upcoming first solo album ‘XX’ to be released on November himself.
Today (28th), YG Entertainment uploaded an image poster with the title of MINO’s first solo album ‘XX’ and including his handwriting through their official blog (www.yg-life.com).
As known as a fashion star, MINO presented a strong force while dressed in ‘all black’ outfits, captivating the viewers’ attention in an instant.
The writing on the poster read, “Used to express slang or BLANK, but one can only infer what it really means, and there is no answer. Want more freedom”.
The underlined phrase that read, “Can imagine anything” refers to the album title ‘XX’. In other words, the title was name by the artist himself so that his creations won’t have limitations through the various interpretations by anyone who listens to them.
Although the exact comeback date has not yet been revealed, MINO’s new music and his growth as an artist to be revealed within November are receiving more attention than ever.
YG’s representative producer YANG HYUN SUK has revealed spoilers on MINO’s MV shooting scene through his Instagram, raising expectations. It is said that representative YANG stayed up all night with MINO at the scene to raise completeness of the MV.
MINO has left a strong impression through his solo track titled ‘I’M HIM’ on WINNER’s debut album. He later won 2nd place on ‘Show Me The Money 4’, letting his presence known among the public. He also successfully presented music in different vibes through his first solo digital single titled ‘BODY’, released back in 2016.
His solo track ‘TURN OFF THE LIGHT’ from WINNER’s 2nd album released in April was written by himself and received favorable reviews from music fans.
The music fans are already looking forward to MINO’s musical talent and outlook as a solo artist, which will be different from what he has been presenting as a member of WINNER.
