WINNER members are known for their great teamwork, and naturally, their wishes were similar too. They all want to become a top group. But, WINNER’s wishes are already being realized. WINNER’s new songs, “LOVE ME LOVE ME” and “ISLAND”, are going viral in and out of the country.
WINNER did a V Live show on August 5 to communicate with the fans. It didn’t take them a long time to receive 105 million hearts, proving WINNER’s huge popularity.
On the show, WINNER talked about their wishes. HOONY’s wishes were unique. He wanted his dog Ote to be chosen as a dog food model, eat 100 bowls of abura soba, watch a world cup game in the stadium, and have a body like Choo Sung-hoon.
JINU wanted to appear in a film noir, be healthy, buy a building, go on a world tour. MINO’s wish was to become taller, buy a house, buy a car, earn 10 billion won, have a hit album. YOON wanted WINNER to become a top group, go on a world tour, become a relaxed person, release a solo album, go on a tour abroad, and have his own space.
WINNER members all wanted to have a hit song. However, WINNER’s “REALLY REALLY”, which was released in April, and their new song released on August 4 “LOVE ME LOVE ME” and “ISLAND” have all become huge hits.
Upon release, “LOVE ME LOVE ME” and “ISLAND” swept the online charts. Also, “LOVE ME LOVE ME” became No.1 on the iTunes charts of 22 countries, the highest number for the group.
WINNER is already on the fast track to success. Although the song was released four months ago, “REALLY REALLY” is still high up on the charts. Now, WINNER has multiple songs ranking high on the charts, and expectations are running higher than ever for how much of a big hit WINNER’s new songs will be this time.
