[일간스포츠=이미현 기자] Girl group BLACKPINK has successfully finished their debut showcase in Japan.

YANG HYUN SUK posted a photo on his social media account on July 21, with hashtags “BLACKPINK #SHOWCASE #武道館 #20170720 #BLACKPINK_JAPAN_DEBUT #BLACKPINK_IN_YOUR_AREA #YG #with #AVEX #MATSUURA @masatomatsuura”.

The photo shows BLACKPINK members, YANG HYUN SUK, and President Masato Matsuura of Avex Group Holdings, Japan’s biggest record label. They are making big smile on their face and a pose of heart with their hands.

On the day, BLACKPINK successfully finished a debut showcase at Budokan, an arena where only top artists in Japan can perform. Even though BLACKPINK is a rookie artist who made debut less than one year ago, the team hosted a show at the arena with more than 10,000 seats. Fans filled up the arena to see BLACKPINK and welcomed the girls with big acclamations.

After the end of the showcase, BLACKPINK said on their official social media account, “We hosted a show at an arena named Budokan and we’re so much pleased and happy to see BLINK.”

“As it was our first overseas performance, we felt a little bit more nervous than usual. We’ll always do our best to present good performances and to make you proud of us. So, please continue to support and love us”, added BLACKPINK.

After the debut showcase in Japan, BLACKPINK will release their official debut album in Japan on the 9 next month.
