BABYMONSTER Surprises Fans with Release of ‘Jenny from the Block’ Performance Video

YG Entertainment posted the ‘BABYMONSTER – DANCE PERFORMANCE VIDEO (Jenny from the Block)’ on their official blog on the 26th. The unique charms of the seven members complete the next-generation ‘YG-style hip-hop identity,’ constantly eliciting admiration.
Dressed in street fashion with matching ball caps, BABYMONSTER exuded a charisma quite different from what they had previously shown. They then flaunted their carefree swagger and whipped up the atmosphere with crisp, measured movements.

BABYMONSTER is the girl group YG is launching about seven years after BLACKPINK. Composed of members from Korea (AHYEON, HARAM, RORA), Thailand (PHARITA, CHIQUITA), and Japan (RUKA, ASA), the group is an ‘all-rounder,’ well-equipped in vocals, dance, rap, and visuals, carrying the anticipation of many.
As pre-debut trainees, they set a record for the shortest time for a K-pop girl group to surpass 2 million subscribers on their YouTube channel in just 129 days.
