According to the latest chart announced by Billboard on the 23rd (local time), BABYMONSTER’s pre-debut song ‘DREAM’ recorded No. 1 on the Billboard’s ‘Hot Trending Songs’ chart. Billboard expressed high anticipation, stating that “BABYMONSTER is off to a strong start.”
‘Hot Trending Songs’ ranks songs, music, topics, and trends that are currently hot on Twitter. Achieving such a result on Twitter, one of the major platforms widely used by music fans around the world, is interpreted as securing strong topicality not only among fandom but also among the public.
It is particularly anticipated that BABYMONSTER’s momentum in the global music market will be even more explosive in the future, considering that they have not yet officially debuted and even the official track has not been released. The ‘DREAM’ video, which was released on the 14th, immediately shot to No.1 on YouTube Worldwide Trending, and in about 10 days, it has exceeded 33.7 million views and is rapidly increasing.
