TREASURE Wins Best Group Award at Gold Disc Awards
[KBS미디어=박재환 기자] YG Entertainment’s TREASURE received the Best Group Award at the ‘37th Golden Disc Awards’ held at Rajamangala National Stadium in Bangkok, Thailand. This is the 4th trophy they received at end-of-year and early-year festivals following ‘TMA’, ‘MAMA’, and ‘AAA’.
TREASURE made their presence clear when they first received the Rookie of the Year Award at the ‘Golden Disc Awards’. Members said, “Thank you so much for a meaningful award. We love you YG family who always works for us behind our backs.”
TREASURE successfully wrapped up their Arena tour in Japan on the 4th, and now plans on expanding their activities to an even wide scale. They said, “There’s a lot we’ve prepared for the year. One of them is an Asia tour. We won’t settle and work even harder to pay back the love with received from fans with music and our performance”.
TREASURE then stole the hearts of local fans with their even-more perfected performance. They started off with ‘BOY’, and performed ‘JIKJIN’, which received enormous love by global music fans, and finished the stage with ‘DARARI’, which later received love from global charts after it was used as a dance challenge among the MZ generation.
TREASURE once again took the stage to receive an award on behalf of BIGBANG’s ‘Still Life’ which won the digital song category. TREASURE said, “We’d like to sincerely thank BIGBANG for winning this award. It feels great that BIGBANG, whom we admire so much, is receiving this award, and we’re happy to be able to deliver this for them. We’ll make sure this trophy reaches them well”.
Meanwhile, TREASURE will be holding ‘2023 TREASURE TOUR [HELLO]’ this march. Starting with Taipei on March 4, they will hold concerts in Kuala Lumpur on March 11, Jakarta on March 18-19, Bangkok on April 1, Singapore on April 8, Manila on April 15, Macau on April 22, and Hong Kong on May 20th, holding 9 performances in 8 cities.
