TREASURE Successfully Wraps Up Their First Japan Arena Tour…Met 210,000 Audiences
[OSEN=지민경 기자] YG mega group TREASURE successfully wrapped up their first Japanese Arena tour.
TREASURE held ‘TRASURE JAPAN ARENA TOUR 2022-23~HELLO~’ on the 3rd and 4th at Saitama Super Area near Tokyo, and successfully wrapped up their first two-month Arena tour since debut.
The atmosphere was full of passion both inside and outside the venue, especially because this was TREASURE’s last performance venue for the tour. TREASURE-related hashtags were put up on Twitter’s real-time trends, and all three performances for the concert were sold out early. The concert was also broadcast live on Japan’s largest OTT platform U-NEXT so that those who couldn’t visit the site could enjoy the concert at the comfort of their homes.
TREASURE members set audiences’ hearts on fire with their explosive energy. The boys opened the stage with ‘JIKJIN’, which swept major album/song charts in Japan, and performed the Japanese versions of ‘BOY’, ‘I LOVE YOU’, and ‘HELLO’ in Japanese. 150 minutes were filled with a total of 24 songs, which included track songs and unit, cover, and encore performances.
During the last performance, TREASURE members said, “We received so much energy from everyone. Thank you so much for this precious time and we can’t describe how happy we feel. We’ll work hard so that we can be artists you guys can be proud of. I think this year will be the best year for us”, expressing how much they feel for their fans.
TREASURE made their debut in March 2021, and despite not being able to hold much promotion activities in Japan, all 3 of their Japanese albums took the top spot on the Oricon chart. They also made their presence clear as an artist by putting up their name on the ‘Best 3 new artists’ during the 36th Japan Gold Disc Awards.
Riding on the popularity, TREASURE held an Area tour, the biggest of its kind as a K-Pop artist, in Japan. Starting with Hokkaido, they performed a total of 24 concerts in 7 cities including Fukui, Nagoya, Fukuoka, Kobe, Tokyo, and Saitama, bringing together a 210,000 audiences.
TREASURE will enter Japan’s Kyosera Dome Osaka on the 28th and 29th for a special concert, and hold an Asia tour starting from March starting with Taipei. They will then head off to Kuala Lumpur, Jakarta, Bangkok, Singapore and Manila.
