TREASURE Successfully Kicks off Japanese Arena Tour…To Hold Concert at Kyocera Dome Next January
[뉴스엔=황혜진 기자] Boy group TREASURE successfully kicked off their first Arena tour in Japan.
According to YG Entertainment on the 28th, TREASURE held their ‘TREASURE JAPAN ARENA TOUR 2022-23~HELLO~’ on the 26th and 27th of November at Hokkaido Prefectural Sports Center.
Tickets to their concert, the starting point of their Japanese arena tour, were completely sold out for both days early on. Thanks to the enthusiastic responses from local fans, TREASURE decided to hold another concert on the 27th. As a result, the group met with some 18,000 fans over the course of 3 days.
It was TREASURE’s first Japanese tour in two years since debut, and the group won over the hearts of local fans by presenting unrivaled vocals, synchronized dance moves, and overwhelming stage presence.
TREASURE’s 150 minutes on stage was filled with a total of 24 songs including their debut song ‘BOY’, title-track from their new album ‘THE SECOND STEP : CHAPTER TWO’, ‘HELLO’, and Japanese versions of major hit songs. Not only did they communicate with local fans in Japanese, but they also met with fans up-close by utilizing all parts of the stage.
Towards the end of the performance, they unveiled their surprise plan to hold an additional concert at Kyocera Dome in Osaka on the 28th~29th of January next year.
ASAHI, a member from Osaka Japan, said, “I’m very happy and feel emotional that our first dome performance will be held at Kyocera Dome in Osaka. I always looked up to that concert venue as I vividly remember seeing BIGBANG’s performance there when I was young. We’ll make sure to work hard to show the best of us. Please look forward to it.”
Following Hokkaido, TREASURE will head to Fukui on the 3rd of December, Nagoya on the 6~7th of December, Fukuoka on the 17~18th of December, Hyogo on the 21st, 22nd, 24th, 25th, Tokyo on the 31st of December, Saitama on the 3rd~4th of January, and Osaka on the 28~29th of January.
On the 30th of November, they will be releasing their Japanese album for their 2nd mini-album ‘THE SECOND STEP : CHAPTER TWO’.
