Group BLACKPINK LISA took the number one spot on the Hanteo Weekly Chart (2021.09.06~2021.09.12) in just two and a half days of releasing her solo single album.
According to Hanteo Chart in the 13th, LISA’s first solo single album ‘LALISA’ which was released at 1 p.m. on the 10th sold more than 330,000 copies on just that day.
Considering that some of the exports to the U.S. and Europe, including limited-edition LPs that have not yet been released, have not been counted and considered, it is estimated that the actual sales volume was even higher.
Meanwhile LISA’s album ‘LALISA’ signaled to reach an all-time record as a K-pop female solo artist with more than 800,000 pre-orders during the pre-sale period. Looking at the current trend itself, it is expected that LISA will be able to easily achieve a new record in terms of the highest initial sales as a K-pop female solo artist
Her song also took over various global charts. Her title song ‘LALISA’ which has the same name as the album took the number one spot on iTunes Top Song Chart in 60 countries, and soon expanded the cumulative no.1 area to 66 countries. It also entered the 15th spot on the Spotify Global Charts, garnering expectations on how it will do later.
Meanwhile, the M/V for “LALISA” is also showing explosive popularity surpassing 100 million views in just two days after it was released on YouTube, breaking the record for reaching the feat in the shortest amount of time among K-pop solo artist. This is half the amount of time it took PSY’s “Gentleman” M/V to reach 100 million views which kept its record for about eight years and five months.
YG Entertainment also made a surprise reveal of LISA’s ‘LALISA’ special stage performance garnering great responses from fans.
