BLACKPINK LISA, Tops Global YouTube Song-M/V Chart for 2 Consecutive Weeks
[스포츠서울=정하은 기자] BLACKPINK LISA took over YouTube’s global charts with her solo album ‘LALISA’ for two consecutive weeks.
According to YouTube’s recent chart (17.09.21~23.09.21) released on the 26th, LISA’s title song ‘LALISA’ took the number one spot on Global YouTube Songs Top 100 following last week.
The most viewed M/V in the world for the same period was also ‘LALISA’, and the performance video for ‘MONEY’ which was released on the 24th of September also recorded more than 30 million views in just wo days, ranking at the top of the most trending chart.
LISA’s solo album ‘LALISA’ is achieving significant results on various global charts including YouTube.
The ‘LALISA’ song topped iTunes’ Top Song chart in a total of 72 countries, placed 2nd on U.S.’ Billboard Global 200, 84th on Billboard Hot 100, and entered the UK’s Official Chart Single Top 100 as 68th, proving her presence in the mainstream pop market.
The M/V for her title song ‘LALISA’ reached 100 million views in just two days after it was leased at 1 p.m. on the 10th, setting the record of reaching such a feat in the shortest amount of time as a K-POP solo artist. She then reached 200 million views in just 13 days, breaking the record as a female solo artist.
The initial album sales for ‘LALISA’ surpassed BLACKPINK’s ‘THE ALBUM (690,000 copies)’ with 736,221 copies according to the Hanteo chart. It has been found that the figure will be well over 800,000 copies when considering overseas sales. This figure is also a new record of initial sales as a K-POP female artist.
