YG TREASURE Tops Hanteo Weekly Chart With Album Sales..More Than 700,000 Copies
[OSEN=지민경 기자] YG mega group TREASURE JIKJINed straight to the first spot of the Hanteo Chart which counts album sales figures from all around the world both online and offline.
According to Hanteo Chart on 소도 21st, TREASURE’s first mini-album ‘THE SECOND STEP : CHAPTER ONE’ took the top spot in album sales for this week (2022.02.14.~2022.02.20.).
Although there’s one more day left until the final figures to be counted, the group already broke their own record as their accumulated firt-sales figures (according to Hanteo Chart) surpassed 240,000 copies.
Such success had already been hinted. YG had previous said when adding together all three types of physical albums (photobook, digi-pack, and kit version), the sales will surpass 700,000 copies.
TREASURE’s first mini-album ‘THE SECOND STEP : CHAPTER ONE’ topped the iTunes chart on the 15th which was the day of release in 30 different countries, and also topped the Worldwide Album Chart.
Their title-song ‘JIKJIN’ has swept major local music sites in Japan such as Line Music Song Top100, Rakuten Music, Apple Music, AWA, and mu-mo.
