BLACKPINK LISA Aims for The Shortest Time to Reach 100 million Views For ‘LALISA’ Movie

According to YG Entertainment on the 11th, LISA’s solo album title song ‘LALISA’ took the no.1 spot on the iTunes Chart in 60 countries as of 8 a.m.
Her popularity was distributed evenly in North and South America, Europe, and Asia, along with the United States, and also took the top spot on the iTunes World Chart. ‘MONEY’ which is the other track list of the album took the second spot, drawing even more attention on her achievements.
Major foreign platforms such as U.S.’s Billboard, MTV, Rolling Stone, METRO, Forbes, and Variety also paid attention to LISA’s solo debut and reported on it with significant weight.
Billboard said “LISA invited her fans to her very own world” and praised that “Whoever gets in touch with the ‘LALISA’ album will definitely remember who she is”.
MTV said “One of the best artist LISA showed her explosive potential in all acting, singing, and dancing categories” and added that “She showed her confident self through the ‘LALISA’ music video. Her way of showing how confident she is as a person and powerful dance moves are very impressive.”
Meanwhile the M/V for ‘LALISA’ surpassed 63 million views on YouTube, 19 hours after it was released, showing explosive popularity in a short time.
If the current trend continues on, it’s most certain that it will reach “The most viewed video within 24 hours” on YouTube. It is also expected to break BLACKPINK’s previous record of reaching 100 million views in the shortest time.
Meanwhile LISA will be appearing on NBC’s ‘The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon’ on the afternoon of the 11th and performing her very first solo stage.
