BLACKPINK LISA’s ‘LALISA’ M/V Reaches 400 million Views After 4 Months
[연합뉴스=김예나 기자] Group BLACKPINK LISA’s solo ‘LALISA’ reached more than 400 million views on YouTube.
According to YG Entertainment on the 9th, the M/V for ‘LALISA’ surpassed 400 million views as of 3:46 p.m. the same day.
This feat was reached after 4 months since it was released on the 10th of September, 121 days to be exact.
YG said “This is the shortest record among K-POP female solo artists who reached the feat for their M/V.”
It took 395 days for JENNIE’s ‘SOLO’ M/V to reach this figure, who is also a member of BLACKPINK. LISA broke this record 274 days earlier. These two are the only K-POP female solo artists who reached more than 400 million views for their music videos.
‘LALISA’ is the title song for LISA’s solo debut single title song, and it was derived from her Thai real name.
The hip-hop genre song recorded 73.6 million views for its M/V within 24 hours of release, which is the highest number of views as a solo artist.
The M/V has been breaking a series of records since then, such as reaching 100 million views in just two days.
