AKMU LEE SUHYUN as a Solo Artist, LEE CHAN HYUK, and YG
[스포츠조선=백지은 기자] AKMU LEE SUHYUN’s challenge as a solo artist now begins.
On October 16 at 6 PM, LEE SUHYUN will release her first solo album ‘ALIEN’. ‘ALIEN’ is a trendy Dance Pop song. The odd lyrics which begin with a mother confessing to her daughter, who has no self-esteem, that she is actually an alien, is impressive and distinguished. She is determined to present her unique self, not as a member of AKMU.
“I’ve felt that my musical taste changes as I was part of AKMU. As I felt my changes, I wanted to make something that contains my identity. ‘ALIEN’ is a unique song with joyful charms. Please enjoy while thinking, ‘This is the color of LEE SUHYUN as a solo artist, when she’s not AKMU’, and I hope you can all be energized during hard times while listening to the song”.
‘ALIEN’ is like a sampler album that shows LEE SUHYUN’s endless possibilities as a solo artist. LEE SUHYUN is planning to communicate with the fans with songs in her own color from now one.
“My thoughts and the things I want to do change every day, so I can’t assure you on what my next solo release will be like, but it is my goal to release songs and albums that contain the colors and thoughts I want to express at the time, like ‘ALIEN’. I will also be active as AKMU, so please look forward to it! Thank you”.
Lastly, LEE SUHYUN also revealed her affections on AKMU and her agency, YG Entertainment.

My brother has an opposite character, but we get along very well and have been best friends since childhood, so he can’t say warm words to me, thinks it’s too cheesy.
