‘BLACKPINK: Light Up the Sky’ is a Netflix documentary which presents the story of 4-member girl group BLACKPINK(YG Entertainment, JISOO, JENNIE, ROSÉ, LISA) and how they became the world’s most loved global stars in such a short period of time after making debut back in 2016.

Like their signature melody tag, ‘BLACKPINK IN YOUR AREA!’, BLACKPINK is making the entire world as their ‘area’. The top K-Pop girl group will now make return as the heroines of Netflix’s first-ever K-Pop documentary.

Director Caroline Suh is an independent documentary director with 20 years of experience on Netflix, CNN Film, Sundance Channel, PBS, EPIX, A & E, and the History Channel through movies, TV programs, and commercials. She has become Hollywood’s best hitmaker through her recent documentary series on Netflix titled ‘Salt Fat Acid Heat’.
