BLACKPINK Reveals ‘Lovesick Girls’ MV Teaser for the First Time, ‘Sad Charisma’

From the emotional acting of the 4 members to the song’s main melody with both sadness and excitement raised anticipation on the unprecedented new concept and the full version of the MV and song.
On September 30 at 9 AM, YG Entertainment uploaded BLACKPINK’s ‘Lovesick Girls’ MV teaser through their official blog. The short 15-second clip showed BLACKPINK members wandering and looking hurt, raising curiosities of the viewers.
JISOO ran as fast as she could towards somewhere with tears in her eyes, JENNIE sat in a car alone with sadness, ROSÉ put her body in a bathtub full of black ink, while LISA was leaning towards someone with an exhausted face. BLACKPINK’s sad yet charismatic aura grabbed the viewers’ attention.
Furthermore, the teaser clip revealed part of the chorus of ‘Lovesick Girls’, raising the viewers’ concentration level. BLACKPINK’s powerful vocals yelling ‘We are the lovesick girls’ on top of the sophisticated melody created harmony, raising anticipation on the full version of the song.
