BLACKPINK JENNIE-JISOO Reveals Individual Teaser Clips… ‘Mysticism’ with Ambient Beauty
[iMBC=백아영 기자] BLACKPINK revealed their dark yet ambient individual member teaser clips, raising curiosities on their upcoming concept.
On September 27 at 4 PM, YG Entertainment uploaded JENNIE and JISOO’s ‘THE ALBUM’ teaser videos through their official blog.
In the video, JENNIE grabbed the viewers’ attention with her attractive back while wearing a beret hat. As she turned towards the camera, her elegant beauty emitted a mystic vibe while her eyes and facial expressions looked as if she was trying to say something, leaving a strong impression.
JISOO also revealed her outstanding vibe while emitting a lonely vibe. Her untidy hair and smokey makeup raised the viewers’ focus as if she represented the wandering youth, along with her sad charisma.
As teaser clips for JENNIE and JISOO were revealed following teaser clips for ROSÉ and LISA, BLACKPINK revealed teaser clips for all 4 members. In the end of the teaser, a short sound clip was inserted as if it hinted their upcoming song, raising anticipation of the fans as well.
BLACKPINK will release their long-awaited official debut album ‘THE ALBUM’ on October 2, in 4 years since making debut. As they will target the global market, the release time will be 12 AM in US EST and 1 PM KST on the same day.
While detailed information on the songs are still in veil, since BLACKPINK’s pre-release singles ‘How You Like That’ and ‘Ice Cream’ from their upcoming official debut album both became tremendous hits, raising the group’s presence in the global music market, the fans are highly anticipating the album.
‘How You Like That’ received an award at the US MTV Video Music Awards and was selected as ‘The Best Song of the Summer’ by YouTube.
