‘Comeback’ TREASURE Reveals Title of Upcoming Single, ‘I LOVE YOU’… Releases Title Poster
[동아닷컴=전효진 기자] Rookie group TREASURE noticed a ‘straight confession’ that will grab the global fans’ hearts in an instant.
On September 10, YG Entertainment uploaded the title poster of TREASURE’s second single album, ‘THE FIRST STEP : CHAPTER TWO’ through their official blog. The title revealed through the poster was ‘I LOVE YOU’. The direct expression and heart-shaped design needed no other explanation and made the global fans’ hearts flutter.
TREASURE has been utilizing objects with heart images and phrases about love on their teaser poster and concept video, implying the hidden message of the song.
Detailed information other than the title ‘I LOVE YOU’ is still in veil, but the people are looking forward to TREASURE’s deepened passion and energy. YG has previously revealed, “TREASURE’s upcoming single is a fiercer track than their debut single ‘BOY’”.
Receiving attention as a major group targeting the global market, TREASURE made debut on August 7 with the support and positive reviews by numerous music fans.
The title song ‘BOY’ from their first single album topped iTunes Top Song charts in 19 different countries, topped the Daily chart of Line Music, which is Japan’s biggest music platform, and even topped China’s QQ Music Top Rising chart.
TREASURE was also charted on US Billboard’s ‘World Digital Song Sales’ chart, as well as being placed on the top ranks of the ‘Emerging Artists’ and ‘Social 50’ charts, proving their strong presence.
TREASURE’s second single album ‘ THE FIRST STEP : CHAPTER TWO’, which will lead the group’s global popularity after their fast comeback, will be released on September 18. Physical copies will be available starting on September 22 through nationwide retailers online and offline, including YG SELECT.
