YG TREASURE Reveals Portrait Version of ‘I LOVE YOU’ Title Poster… Grabs Global Fans’ Hearts
[OSEN=이승훈 기자] While YG’s rookie group TREASURE has unveiled their new song title, the visuals of the 12 members were revealed unexpectedly, making the global fans’ hearts flutter.
On September 10 at 4PM, YG Entertainment uploaded the portrait version title poster of TREASURE’s second single album, ‘THE FIRST STEP : CHAPTER TWO’, through their official blog.
In the poster, the 12 members of TREASURE wore school uniforms while staring at the front. The red heart shapes dyed into their chest created harmony with the members’ pure and fresh charms, hinting the concept of their upcoming single.
As the title ‘I LOVE YOU’ and the members visuals were revealed, the global fans are highly anticipating the album. Detailed information is still in veil, but YG has previously hinted that “TREASURE’s new single will be fiercer than their debut single ‘BOY’”.
Receiving attention as a major group targeting the global market, TREASURE made debut on August 7 with the support and positive reviews by numerous music fans.
The title song ‘BOY’ from their first single album topped iTunes Top Song charts in 19 different countries, topped the Daily chart of Line Music, which is Japan’s biggest music platform, and even topped China’s QQ Music Top Rising chart.
TREASURE was also charted on US Billboard’s ‘World Digital Song Sales’ chart, as well as being placed on the top ranks of the ‘Emerging Artists’ and ‘Social 50’ charts, proving their strong presence.
TREASURE’s second single album ‘ THE FIRST STEP : CHAPTER TWO’, which will lead the group’s global popularity after their fast comeback, will be released on September 18. Physical copies will be available starting on September 22 through nationwide retailers online and offline, including YG SELECT.
