“2-Year Vacancy Was Nothing”… AKMU Achieves All-Kill Status on 8 Charts… Plus Lines Up Songs

[엑스포츠뉴스=전아람기자] The title song of AKMU’s latest album, ‘How Can I Love the Heartbreak, You’re the One I Love’, achieved an all-kill status on music charts.

AKMU’s ‘How Can I Love the Heartbreak, You’re the One I Love’ topped real-time charts of Melon, Genie, Bugs, Soribada, Mnet, Naver Music, Flo, and Olleh Music as of September 26 at 7 AM. 

In addition to ‘How Can I Love the Heartbreak, You’re the One I Love’, songs such as ‘MOON’, ‘Sailor’s Song’, ‘Fish in Water’, and ‘FREEDOM’ was also ranked high in charts, allowing AKMU to ‘line up’ songs on the charts.

AKMU released their 3rd official album ‘SAILING’ on the 25th at 6 PM, making their comeback in 2 years. The album ‘SAILING’ deals with the theme of ‘breakup’ with the keyword ‘leaving’. They dealt with the emotions of breakup, which may turn a bit heavy, blandly and with coolness utilizing live band sounds. 

The demo version of the title song ‘How Can I Love the Heartbreak, You’re the One I Love’ was previously revealed through ‘Someday Festival’ back in 2017 before LEE CHAN HYUK was enlisted in the army and was chosen as the title song with new arrangement which minimalized its components. 

AKMU will hold an outdoor listening party called ‘Sailing on an Autumn Night’ on the 29th at 7:30 PM in Mulbit Stage Hangang Park, Yeouido to meet their fans.
