WINNER’s ‘AH YEAH’ Achieves ‘All-Kill’ Status on 8 Music Charts… Tops iTunes Album Charts on 19 Regions of the World
[OSEN=선미경기자] Group WINNER achieved an all-kill status on music charts with their new song ‘AH YEAH’, becoming the ‘winners’ of the summer K-Pop season.
The title song ‘AH YEAH’ from WINNER’s new mini album ‘WE’ topped 8 different music charts as of May 16 at 8 AM including Melon, Mnet, Naver, Olleh, Bugs, Soribada, Genie, and Monkey 3, conquering music charts which seemed to be impregnable.
The song has ‘kicked the roof’ on Melon, the biggest music platform in Korea, which indicates the highest real-time share measurement, while also achieving no. 1 within 24 hours.
‘Ah YEAH’ topped real-time charts of major music platforms as soon as the song was released on the 15th at 6 PM, proving the group’s strong influence on music charts.
Korean media have spotlighted WINNER’s extraordinary success on music charts by reporting that WINNER has topped the Melon chart with title songs of all albums the group has released for 5 years, since they first debuted back in 2014.
Starting with their debut title track ‘EMPTY’, all album title songs including ‘BABY BABY’, ‘REALLY REALLY’, ‘LOVE ME LOVE ME’, ‘EVERYDAY’, and ‘MILLIONS’, have reached no. 1 on Melon charts.
This proves that WINNER has received steady love and support from the public as the leaders of K-Pop, without ups and downs.
