BLACKPINK Wins No. 1 Trophy on ‘Show! Music Core’… “A Prize for BLINK”
[뉴시스=이호길 인턴 기자] Group BLACKPINK won 1st place on MBC TV’s ‘Show! Music Core’ broadcasted on the 11th.
BLACKPINK appeared on ‘Show! Music Core’ and won the no. 1 trophy for the second week of July with their latest single, ‘How You Like That’. The other no. 1 nominees were solo artists SUNMI and Hwasa.
Member JENNIE revealed her thoughts on winning the no. 1 trophy by stating, “We won 1st place, after making comeback in quite a while. It’s a prize for BLINK. We love you”, while JISOO revealed, “We won 1st place, thanks to BLINK. Thank you”.
BLACKPINK revealed ‘How You Like That’ last month on the 26th. It is a Hip-hop track with BLACKPINK’s unique character and charisma, and the song is currently dominating no. 1 spots on major music charts in and out of Korea.
