EUN JIWON to Release His Solo Album ‘G1’ Today(27th) in 10 Years→Assisted by MINO
[동아닷컴=이슬비 기자] EUN JIWON is releasing his solo album in approximately 10 years, with ‘G1’.
Today(27th), YG Entertainment began running the countdown poster and revealed the D-DAY poster of EUN JIWON’s new album ‘G1’ through their official blog(www.yg-life.com), notifying that his comeback is now imminent.
His solo album ‘G1’ presents EUN JIWON’s musical world that is not bound to mainstream music but incorporates various genres, as an all-rounder Hip-Hop artist.

This album has a lot of meaning since it’s EUN JIWON’s sixth studio album, and an album being released in 10 years. EUN JIWON put various stories and messages he wanted to pass on to the listeners with topics including love, breakups, and life.
The album is filled with a total of 9 tracks including the title song ‘I’M ON FIRE’, ‘HOW WE DO’, ‘SEXY’, ‘WORTHLESS’, ‘HOOLIGAN (Feat. MINO of WINNER)’, ‘GET READY’, ‘TIPSY’, ‘HATE’, and ‘SAME’.
EUN JIWON participated in the creative process of 5 tracks, putting his musical color and identity while presenting his capabilities as an artist himself.
The title song ‘I’M ON FIRE’ is a song with a strong Boombap beat, with lyrics that metaphorically state his emotions towards the one he loves as a ‘garden tiger moth flying towards fire’.
EUN JIWON also presented his strong will towards traditional Hip-Hop by making the song in Boombap genre instead of Trap, which is known as the current mainstream genre in Hip-Hop.

EUN JIWON has had plenty of conversations regarding music with MINO, who he has collaborated with on many variety programs. As a result, the traditional Hip-Hop track titled ‘I’M ON FIRE’ which suits EUN JIWON like a glove was created. MINO wrote and composed the title song, ‘I’M ON FIRE’. He did not stop there and even participated as a featuring artist on ‘HOOLIGAN (Feat. MINO of WINNER)’, which he also wrote and composed. Regarding ‘HOOLIGAN’, EUN JIWON revealed his affections by stating, “Besides the title song, ‘HOOLIGAN’ which I have created with MINO is my favorite track”.
After making comeback with his new album, EUN JIWON is planning to meet the public through active promotional activities including music broadcasts and concerts.
