BLACKPINK’s MV for ‘DDU-DU DDU-DU’ Surpasses 800M Views, ‘First Time as a K-Pop Girl Group’ 블랙핑크가 K팝 그룹 ‘최초’·’최고’ 수식어를 또 한 번 쓰게 됐다. ‘뚜두뚜두’ 뮤직비디오는 11일 오후 4시 16분께 유튜브에서 8억 뷰를 넘어섰다. 지난 6월 15일 공개된 이후 329일 만의 기록. 단일 뮤직비디오 8억 뷰는 K팝 그룹 최초이자 역대 최고 조회수다. 블랙핑크는 ‘뚜두뚜두’ 뮤직비디오로 K팝 그룹 최단 기간 내 4억, 5억, 6억 뷰를 돌파하는 기염을 토했다. 또한 7억 뷰에 이어 8억 뷰까지 연달아 K팝 그룹 최초 신기록을 추가했다. 현재 4억 뷰를 향해 가고 있는 ‘킬 디스 러브’ 뮤직비디오는 이미 매 억대 뷰 돌파 시점에 최단 기간을 자체 경신했다. ‘뚜두뚜두’ 뮤직비디오 조회수(3억뷰 기준)보다 약 2배 이상 빠른 속도다. 새 앨범 활동과 더불어 이들의 월드 투어가 진행되면서 블랙핑크 유튜브 공식채널 전체의 조회수 증가 추이가 꾸준히 우상향 중이다. 블랙핑크는 지난 8일 북미 투어를 성황리에 마쳤다. 18일부터는 암스테르담을 시작으로 유럽 6개 주요 도시 현지 팬들과 만난다.

The MV for ‘DDU-DU DDU-DU’ surpassed 800M views on YouTube as of May 11th at 4:16 PM. The record was achieved in 329 days, since the video was released last year on June 15. 800M views on a single MV is the first and best record in K-Pop group history. With the MV for ‘DDU-DU DDU-DU’, BLACKPINK has been setting the fastest records while surpassing 400M, 500M, and 600M views in K-Pop history. They have also became the first K-Pop group to surpass 700M views and finally, 800M views.
While currently heading towards 400M views, the MV for ‘KILL THIS LOVE’ has already renewed all the fastest records while adding up 100M views to its figure. They are currently approximately 2 times faster when compared to the view count accumulating pace of ‘DDU-DU DDU-DU’(at 300M views). As the group is currently promoting their new album and also going through a world tour, the total view count of BLACKPINK’s official YouTube channel is steadily increasing day by day.
BLACKPINK completed their North America tour in success last month on the 8th. Starting from Amsterdam on the 18th, the group will meet the local fans of 6 major European cities.
