NETFLIX with YG’s YOO BYUNGJAE? STAND-UP COMEDY SPECIAL REVEALED!
[iMBC=김혜영 기자] The world-famous internet entertainment, Netflix, will reveal a Korean Netflix Original Stand-up Comedy Special with YG Entertainment’s writer and comedian YOO BYUNGJAE.
YOO BYUNG JAE displayed his talents as an actor, writer, comedian, and more throughout the seasons and gained attention for his unpredictable humor and statements in variety programs, such as <Infinity Challenge>, <Flower Crew>, and <Talking Street>. The Netflix Original Comedy Special with YOO BYUNGJAE will begin filming in 2018, and Netflix will reveal YOO BYUNG JAE’s stand-up comedy show <BLACK COMEDY> which became a hot topic last August, and will be revealed in the beginning of 2018 as a Netflix Original Comedy Special.
The stand-up comedy with YOO BYUNG JAE in Netflix where a lot of stand-up comedians are active, will give a new experience and fun to the viewers in Korea where people are not familiar with the genre of stand-up comedy itself. The unpredictable humor and words from YOO BYUNG JAE will meet the original comedy expected from Netflix, which will give people joy and laughter.
The vice-president of Netflix International stated, “I’m happy to collaborate with YG Entertainment and YOO BYUNG JAE on the upcoming stand-up comedy”. He continued, “Netflix aims to share the joy presented by bold and humorous comedians in Korea all around the world”.
YG Entertainment officials stated their opinion as well. “We’re happy to promote YG and YOO BYUNG JAE’s stand-up comedy through a global platform such as Netflix. It will be a great opportunity for the globalization of Korean comedy”.
YOO BYUNG JAE’s Netfix Original Stand-up Comedy Special will be exclusively released to 109 million subscribers of Netflix from 190 countries in 2018. YOO BYUNG JAE’s first stand-up comedy show, <BLACK COMEDY> can also be accessed through Netflix at the beginning of next year.
