YOO BYUNG JAE hosts stand comedy show “BLACK COMEDY”

YOO BYUNG JAE will host standup comedy show on August 11 and 12, at Rolling Hall in Hongdae, Seoul.
Standup comedy is a show in which a comedian entertains the audience only by talking, without any stage props or special makeup. Standup comedy has been established as a popular genre of comedy in foreign countries from the 1970’s, but it is still new in Korea.
YOO BYUNG JAE has been interested in standup comedy, thinking that it will give a fresh momentum to the field of comedy that has recently become rather stagnant. JTBC’s show “Talk Busking” aired last year raised people’s interest in standup comedy and the potential of the genre’s success in Korea. The standup comedy show of YOO BYUNG JAE who has widened the scope of comedy by creating many famous quotes is expected to be filled with wittily cutting words.

The ticket sale for YOO BYUNG JAE’s standup comedy show will open on July 21.
