[Official] AKMU will make surprise comeback on July 20… Teaser images like horror movie unveiled
[스포츠조선=김영록 기자] Group AKMU has announced their surprise comeback on July 20.
On July 14, AKMU’s CHAN HYUK announced the team’s comeback by posting two photos on which “July 20” is written and a video on his social media account.
The teaser images look like scenes of a horror movie. In the photos, someone is holding a mirror in front of his/her face and the mirror reflects trees in a forest. Another photo displays two arms that are stretching out of a dark forest. The film shows a silent forest. All of the teaser images and video have words “AKMU, JULY 20” in them.
Recently, YG Entertainment announced, “AKMU will release new songs in this July. They have already completed music video shooting in Jeju Island.”
AKMU released “WINTER” album with title track “LAST GOODBYE” in January this year. In March, the team released “Unexpected Encounter” for which they collaborated with legendary singer Yang Hee-eun. “Last Goodbye” took No.2 on Gaon’s digital chart for the first half of 2017, following “”I Will Go to You like the First Snow”, an original sound track of drama series Guardian: The Lonely and Great God.
Beginning from AKMU, many YG artists including WINNER, SECHSKIES, PSY, iKON, G-DRAGON, and BLACKPINK have come back in the first half of this year. On the 11 this month, ONE made solo debut. AKMU will be the first YG artist to come back in the second half of this year.
Music fans are paying keen attention to what unique music AKMU will present, differently from the summer songs that will pour out for this summer season.
