WINNER Takes No.1 Spot on “Music Core”, its Fourth Trophy in Music Shows
[스포츠조선=조윤선 기자] WINNER’s new single “REALLY REALLY” became No.1 on MBC’s “Show! Music Core”.
On April 22, WINNER’s “REALLY REALLY” took the No.1 spot on the “Show! Music Core” chart for the third week of April.
As a result, WINNER became the first trophy winner since “Show! Music Core” readopted the ranking system. “Show! Music Core” abolished the ranking system in 2015, and after 17 months, readopted it again. Viewers were curious which singer will become No.1 in the first week.
WINNER said,” We would like to thank Mr. YANG HYUN SUK and YANG MIN SUK and Inner Circle members. We’ve become the first winner after the show readopted the ranking system. Thank you so much.”
WINNER has won the first place in four music shows with its new song: two times on Mnet’s “M Countdown”, one time on SBS’s “Inkigayo” and now on “Show! Music Core”.
After the group’s comeback on April 4, WINNER has been sweeping the charts in and out of Korea. It topped Korea’s major online/offline charts as well as the iTunes charts in 21 countries.
Meanwhile, WINNER will be carrying out an active promotion campaign that includes activities such as appearing on music shows and variety shows.
