At 4 PM on April 4, the live show on Naver V App celebrating the release WINNER’s new album, “FATE NUMBER FOR” aired.
WINNER members did the show at a showroom exhibiting the concept of their new album. WINNER showed to the viewers the costumes that KANG SEUNGYOON and LEE SEUNGHOON actually wore and the silver-colored gasoline barrel that KIM JINWOO used in the music videos and asked the viewers to look out for them.
They also showed the album that will be out in offline stores soon. WINNER said, “The album will come out in two versions: the Seoul version and the LA version. The LA version has pictures of us taken in LA, and the Seoul version is a bit more colorful.”
WINNER members also told the behind stories of making music videos for “REALLY REALLY” and “FOOL”, the two title tracks of their new album. KANG SEUNGYOON, SON MINHO, and LEE SEUNGHOON participated in making the lyrics and music “REALLY REALLY”, which is a tropical house song about the excitement of a new love.
It can be inferred from their behind stories that WINNER will be doing some intense dancing and that the music videos will be very movie-like. SONG MINHO said, “I’ve never done such intense dance moves in the past three years.” KIM KINWOO said, “I now know why the US is famous for dancing” and raised the expectations for the music videos.
About “FOOL”, WINNER said, “The guy sings about how sad he is after a heart-wrenching breakup. He calls himself a fool for not doing his best when he was with her. He wants her back and regrets the things that he did wrong.”
WINNER has been on a hiatus for a long time. “FOOL” is for the fans who have waited for them. WINNER said, “We’re so excited about seeing you guys soon. This song, in a way, describes our feelings of not being able to come back soon. Forgive us for making you wait for so long.”
WINNER members also read stories sent by the fans about how they became WINNER fans and granted fans’ requests. LEE SEUNGHOON and SONG MINHO expressed how happy they are to be back through dancing, and KIM JINWOO displayed his cute charms. KANG SEUNGYOON and SONG MINHO made everyone laugh by pretending to have romantic feelings towards each other.
Meanwhile, after releasing their new songs “REALLY REALLY” and “FOOL” at 4 PM on April 4, WINNER will appear in a variety of TV shows including MBC’s Music Core and My Little Television and SBS’s Inkiyo.
