[JUKEBOX] WINNER is Back with “REALLY REALLY” & “FOOL”
[엑스포츠뉴스=김미지 기자] WINNER has come back after a 14-month hiatus, and they are ready to take the music scene by storm with two very uniquely sentimental songs. They are confident that not only their fans but also the general public will be mesmerized by their new songs.
WINNER’s new EP, “FATE NUMBER FOR”, was released at 4 PM on April 4. After NAM TAEHYUN left the group, WINNER became a four-member group, and they decided that “4” is going to be the theme of their promotion campaign.
“REALLY REALLY”, one of the songs in WINNER’s new EP, is an upbeat tropical house song. KANG SEUNGYOON, SONG MINHO, and LEE SEUNGHOON participated in writing the lyrics and the music of the song. It describes the excitement of new lovers that have just fallen in love.
KIM JINWOO’s sweet voice in the intro part that starts with “really really”, KANG SEUNGYOON’s powerful voice, and SONG MINHO and LEE SEUNGHOON’s fierce rapping, and the chorus part that goes “I like you” come together to make the song hip and very WINNER-like.
The music video of the new song was also released. It was shot in LA and features WINNER members dancing with local dancers. The music video is so fresh and trendy that it makes you want to stand up and dance.
The other song of WINNER’s new EP, “FOOL”, is totally different from “REALLY REALLY”. It describes the sad feelings of a breakup, and the line “I was a fool” epitomizes such feelings.
The music video features a guy who regrets letting his lover go. The sensual colors of the scenes and handsome looking WINNER members make the music video look like a movie.
WINNER is to launch a big promotion campaign for their new EP and will communicate with their fans via various channels including music shows.
