WINNER Shows their Affection for Fans on V Live

On April 4, WINNER did a live show on Naver V App titled “WINNER ‘FATE NUMBER FOR’ COUNTDOWN LIVE”.
About their new song “FOOL”, members said, “KANG SEUNGYOON participated in writing the lyrics and the music of the song, and you will also be able to hear SONG MINHO and LEE SEUNGHOON singing.” Then, they revealed the making video of the “FOOL” music video. Members described the song as “a song about the sad feelings of a guy who just broke up with his girlfriend. He calls himself a fool for not treating her well while they were together. It’s a song about regret and longing.” KANG SEUNGYOON showed his affection towards the fans and said, “It is a song for our fans. Forgive us for making you wait for so long.”
They also told the behind stories of the music videos. SONG MINHO said, “The car caught fire when we were shooting ‘REALLY REALLY’ music video. I couldn’t jump off because it wasn’t mine.” KANG SEUNGYOON accused him of being the first person to jump off the car. SONG MINHO responded by saying “Are you trying to pick up a fight with me?” and made everyone laugh.
LEE SEUNGHOON cracked everyone up by saying, “In the ‘FOOL’ music video, I appear as a big motorbike fan, but I don’t even have a license.” He went on to say, “It looks as if I’m really riding the thing, but actually, the director was moving the camera so that it looks that way.”
Members asked the viewers to vote for the song they like best. At first, the two songs got similar votes, but “REALLY REALLY” starting outrunning “FOOL”. KANG SEUNGYOON commented, “I knew this would happen. We never did an upbeat song, so I knew our fans would love it. Thank you for liking both of our songs so much.”
Then, WINNER members granted the viewers’ requests. They sang the parts that they liked best in”REALLY REALLY” and “FOOL”. They also expressed their affection for other members although they seemed to be rather embarrassed. KANG SEUNGYOON said to SONG MINHO, “I know I don’t say this, but thank you for being my friend.” SONG MINHO made everyone laugh by saying to KANG SEUNGHOON “I don’t think of you as a friend. You mean more to me than that.” and afterwards grabbing him in an attempt to kiss him.
Meanwhile, WINNER’s new EP “FATE NUMBER FOR” was released online at 4 PM on April 4.
